最初Piecesの詩を見たときに涙が止まりませんでした。
「泣かないで泣かないで大切な瞳よ　
悲しさにつまずいても真実を見ていてね。
そのままのあなたでいてね」
失恋中にこの曲を聴いて少し傷つきながらも
好きだった人には
「悲しさにつまずいても真実を見ていてね。
そのままのあなたでいてね」
と思えるようになれるような気がしました。
テツのバラードもハイドの歌詞もとてもよくマッチしていて、
ハイドの切ない歌い方に心を打たれました。

ラルクのシングルにしてはめずらしくフェード・アウトしてますね。アレンジがなんとも最高です。アルバム・ヴァージョンと聞き比べてもいいですね。あと僕がなんといっても気に入ったのはジャケットです！最高！

不思議なサウンドだ。

身体は脱力しつつも感情だけは目一杯覚醒しながら
陶酔してるような気分になる。なんとも言えないダラ〜とした
メロディに身体を預けていると、とても心地がいいよ。

そのメロディに隠れていたフック（Kenちゃんのノイズ音）が不意に現れ
ガブリとかみついてくるあたりも曲に色をつけていて良い。

豪華絢爛なストリングスで綿密に練られたアレンジも素晴らしい！

名バラードだ。
