仕事から、疲れて帰ってきて・・・テレビではなく、この曲をかけてみる。
音楽が流れ始めると、ほお~っと力が抜けてゆくような・・・そんな包み込むような、お風呂に浸かってるような、いつの間にか、疲れも癒されている・・・そんな感じの優しい曲です。

非常に静かな曲なのですが、私はクリスマスソングとしてSoon After Christmasは注目しています。セントギガで流れているのを聴いてからCDを見つけるまでだいぶかかりました。

スウェーデンの
シンガー・ソングライター、
スティーナ・ノルデンスタムの
1stアルバム。

ギター、ピアノなどの
アコースティック主体の音に
ジャジーなテイストが心地よい
シンプルなサウンドに乗せて
スティーナの
瑞々しくも儚いヴォーカルが
さざ波のように舞う。

その世界観は静謐で
詩的かつサイケデリック。
そして、私小説のようにパーソナル。

少女と大人の狭間を行き交いながら
ゆらゆら、はらはら。
頼りなげでいて、妙に安心感のある
不思議な感覚。

心の琴線を愛撫して
深層にまでじんわり染みこむ。
その感触はとても優しく
生も死も超えた存在として
記憶の扉をノックする。

それは誰にも触れられたくない
できれば忘れたままでいたい
でも、大切な記憶。

穏やかな波のように漂って
蒼く、美しく、残酷な
遠い記憶を呼び覚ます。

Memories Of A Color(色の記憶)という
タイトルもステキで
ブルー・トーンのアートワークも
素晴らしい。

シンプルで瑞々しく
たまらなくイノセントな
衝撃のデビュー作。

個人的に
最も好きな作品。
