IN　FLAMESのフォロワー（Whoracle期）、と言ってしまえばそれまでだが、このメロディのすばらしさの前ではそんなことはどうでもいい。５分を越える曲が多いが長さなど感じさせないぐらいによいメロディを奏でる。
絶対にA級メロデス、とはいえないかもしれないが演奏も安定しているし、メロディ派なら文句なく気に入ると思う。
あ、疾走度は普通です。

スウェーデンのメロデスバンド、ウィズアウト・グリーフのアルバム。1997作
初期IN FLAMESのフォロワーは数あれど、それをここまで上質に昇華した作品はそう多くない。
ザクザクとした重厚な感触を維持しながら、ツインギターの泣きのフレーズとともに疾走。
激しさと叙情のバランスも申し分なく、演奏技術もしっかりとあり、楽曲展開も一級品。
インフレタイプのメロデスが聴きたかったら本作をぜひ。続く2ndは少しクサメロが減ってしまった。
