本作は1971年６月９日から16日にかけて、ロンドンにて録音された作品である。Ｂ.Ｂ.キングをブリテンのミュージシャンが迎え撃つ形となっているが、このころはマディー・ウォーターズの“Fathers And Sons”に始まる、ブルーズ畑と白人のロック畑のミュージシャンの共演盤が登場してきた時期に当たり、本作もその時流に乗った企画盤と見て良いだろう。ちなみに本作はスタジオ録音であり、ライヴ盤ではない。

参加しているミュージシャンは、ブリティッシュ・ブルーズの首領アレクシス・コーナーを始めとして、ダスター・ベネット、スティーヴ・マリオット（ハンブル・パイ）、リンゴ・スター、クラウス・ヴーアマンなど軽く20人は超える。その中で最も目を引くのは、隠遁生活寸前（すでに隠遁だったか？）のピーター・グリーンの名前だろうか。そのピーター・グリーンは“Wet Hayshark”という曲に参加しているが、本作の聴きものは、アレクシス・コーナーが作曲／アコースティック・ギターで参加し、Ｂ.Ｂ.キングが絶妙のギター・ソロを聴かせる“Alexis' Boogie”や、サザン・ソウルとスワンプ・ロックが混じり合った感じの“Ain't Nobody Home”あたりだろうか。ブリテンの若者が中心となっているバックにつき、音にそれほど深みや余裕のある感じはないが、Ｂ.Ｂ.キングの持ち味はきちんと発揮されている仕上がりとなっている。なおオリジナルは全９曲だが、ＣＤには“May I Have A Talk With You”という曲が追加収録されている。
