　1980年代初頭のNWOBHM勃発時にイギリスでリリースされた名コンピです。ジョン･サイクスが初めて参加したバンドといわれているSTREETFIGHTERの楽曲が収録されていたことで知られていて、ジョン･サイクスの初々しく若さあふれるエネルギュシュなプレイが堪能できます。それ以外にもVARDIS、BUFFALOなどといった個性的なバンドの曲も収録されていて聴き所は多いです。何よりも、音のチープさ薄っぺらさが1980年代初頭のムードをかもし出していて良いですね。NWOBHMに興味がある人はもちろんのこと、21世紀のメタルファンも聴いてみて損はないとおもいますよ。BRITISH STEELえらい。
