まいったなあ。グラムロックの要素も一部取り入れつつ、ツッペリンみたいなサウンドアプローチもみせる。ハードポップ調のものからアコーステックなものまでそつなくこなす。でも確固とした個性はどこに？？
１０点中５点　　楽曲にもう一工夫あればさらにいいのかも。

イギリス出身の三人組の彼等のこのアルバムは彼等にとってデビューとなるアルバムです。曲はバラードからポップな感じのロックまで入っています。ボーカルが少しクセのある感じの歌い方なのですが、アルバムを聞いてみると実は結構良い曲、メロディが耳に残る曲が入っています。

「目標は世界制覇」「俺が書いた曲に感動するのは当然」。あちこちで大口叩きまくってました、マルコム君。でも、この過剰な自信がサウンドにスケール感を与えているのは確かだ。マンチェ直系のダンス・ビートもメランコリックなバラードも、このデビュー作で"正統派ギター・ロック・バンド"の文脈からはみ出す曲は1曲もないくせに、青臭いまでの向こう見ずな情熱が楽曲を輝かせ、期待感を抱かせる。さすが大型新人!
