ネオアコ〜’８０ｓポップを代表する彼等の傑作２ｎｄアルバム。
プロデューサーであるトーマス・ドルビー本人にも影響を与えてしまった
珠玉の楽曲が目白押し。

キャッチーな前半から叙情性豊かな、ちょっとヒネりの聴いた後半の楽曲群
までパディ・マクアルーンによる才能溢れるソングライティングが堪能出来ます。

色褪せない世界観を持つこの作品は１０代とは言わず世代を超えて幅広い
音楽ファンに楽しんで頂きたいものです。

　その声、その楽曲、いろんな意見はあるだろうが、パディー・マクアルーンは間違いなくレノン・チルドレンだ。

　最初聞いたときはそのコロコロ変わる曲展開や音作りの独特の癖（トーマス・ドルビー）がなじめず、部屋の隅にポイしてしまった（スティーリー・ダンも、最初同じだった）。

　ある日改めてプレーヤーにかけてみると、そのとてつもなく素晴らしい音世界に気づき、自分の耳の悪さに幻滅してしまった。

　エバーグリーンって言葉は、まさにこの作品、このグループのためにあるといっても過言ではない。素晴らしい名曲が詰まった、完璧なアルバムだ。１曲目が若干質感が違うが、後は流れるように進んでゆき、その間曲の良さに驚かされ続けることになる。

　新たな才能は必ず現れる。世界は素晴らしい。
