4.0 out of 5 stars 遺作となってしまったドイツ製作のセルフタイトル盤。, 2002/11/20
「キリヤ」から５年近くの長いインターバルを経て発表された今作。（後にその間イスラエルでオリジナルアルバムを作っていたり、本作の前に完成していたアルバムが彼女の意向でボツになったということがわかったのですが。）初期エニグマのメンバーの一人フランクピーターソンをプロデューサーに迎え、ドイツ製作ということでテクノ調のものが多い。セルフタイトル、アルバムジャケット、更に英仏にヘブライ語を自在に混ぜて歌う点も含めて、エスニックな部分を強調するのではなく、インターナショナル性を前面に出した一作で捨曲なしの好トラック揃いです。シングル110をはじめダンストラックも充実、彼女初のカヴァーソング（キャロルキング）8を収録（これもなかなか良い）。但し購入当時、ＵＫ発のターシャアトラスなどを耳にしてしまったので幾分このアルバムが単調に聴こえた記憶もあります。また出世作「イム・ニン・アル」のリメイクも収録されていますがドイツ以外では評判にならなかったようです（クラブ用のリミックスバージョンは製作されましたが）。とはいうものの完成度は高く、評価も一様に高い。「デザートウィンド」同様、初心者に勧めても極めて反応の良い作品です。以降、ＵＫのザ・ブラック・ドッグのシングル「バビロン」にフィーチュアされたりマドンナのトリビュートアルバムや日本の布袋さんのアルバムなどにも参加。映画「プリンスオブエジプト」サントラで声が聴けたのを最後に２０００年２月、彼女の訃報を聞くこととなりました。永遠の歌姫オフラ。ご冥福をお祈りします。

サラ・ブライトマンの『ハレム』の7曲目のヴォーカルに心惹かれ買った一枚。美しい声となんともエキゾチックなメロディに心底まいった。訳詞がわからないのが残念だけど、サラと同列にしたいくらい大好きになってしまいました。亡くなったのがとても残念でなりません。

彼女は、もうこの世にはいませんが、世界中の音楽クリエーターに多大な影響を及ぼしました。悪く言えばパクられでます。それほど独自の世界観があり、また深いものがあります。他にも優れたアルバムもありますが、彼女の最後の作品なので・・・。ほどよくPOPです。サラ　ブライトマン（同じプロデューサー）より美しく情熱的です。彼女の歌声は永遠でしょう。
