なかなか素敵です。「フェミニーナ」「バナナ」なども楽しくて好きですが、
最近気に入っているのは１７曲目「Banho-maria」（これ、バーニョ・マリア
と読むんじゃないかなあと思うんですが・・・どうなんだろう？）。
穏やかな女性２人のデュエット曲で、ジョイスはもちろん上手い！んだけど、
一緒に歌っているリジー・ブラヴォーという人が素敵。

でもこの曲がアタマの中で流れていると、仕事する気が無くなってきて困りま
す（笑）。

たくさんの曲が収録されていますが、時として詞が私にはちょっと難解。でも
何か素敵。詞的・思想的な感じがする・・・「ジョイス女史」と呼ぶファンが
いるのも肯けます。
まだ私には解らないけれど、人生を生きるうちに、いつかあれらの詞を実感出

来る日が来るんじゃないかと、期待してます。

ともあれ、歌うのはあの柔らかで美しいポルトガル語でだし、全然堅苦しくは
ないですよ。全般的に元気で生命力溢れる感じ。
もちろんギターも良いです。(^^)

　最近は毎年のように来日し、サヴァスやブルーノートで魅力的な歌声を披露しているジョイス。スタンダードなボサノヴァもいいが、彼女の魅力は何といっても、ジャジーで、難解な旋律を、巧みに歌いこなす初期の作品群にあると思う。

　その歌声は実にクール。知性あふれる美貌とあわせ、ポストボサノヴァ時代のインテリ層を満足させるにたる資質を十分に備えていた。

　“フェミニーナ”はそうした彼女の作品の中でも、もっとも有名な曲の一つ。扱われているテーマといい、斬新なリズムといい、一度聞いたら耳に残って離れない。1980年の初録音以来、何度かリニューアルを繰り返しているようだが、全く古臭さを感じさせず、常に時代の先端を行っている彼女の先見性に驚くばかりだ。

　ところで、“フェミニーナ”と同時期に発表された、“クラレアーナ”という曲だが、これは彼女の娘たちをモデルにした作品だった。そのひとりのクララ・モレーノが、数年前から歌手としてデビューしているのだが、クールさが持ち味だった母親とは対照的な、“ホットホット”なブラジル娘なのが、何とも印象的だ。

瑞々しい歌声。透き通るような歌声。聴いていると心が洗われます。
全曲、素晴らしい！あと、オリジナルレコードだと音圧があって音すごくいいですね。
