リッチーの声には惚れ惚れします。
歌のうまさはジョン以上、声の美しさも特別です。
stranger in this townの最後の曲のThe Answerは
リッチーの歌をもっとも楽しめる曲です。かなり情熱的です。
リッチーのソロアルバムがまた出てくれないかとかなり願ってます。

　1991年、Richie Samboraのソロ1stです。
　時期で言えば、
BON JOVI「New Jersey」(1988）、Jon Bon Jovi「Blaze of Glory」(1990）の1年後、
BON JOVI「Keep the Faith」(1992)の前年です。

　BON JOVIのギタリストとして有名な彼ですが、
このソロ・アルバムでは、よりブルージーなギターを聴かせてくれます。
　声質は、癖のないクリーンな声です。
　そして、何よりも。。。「歌がうまい！」です。

　とてもBluesyでかっこいい、tr. 1,3,6,10
　BON JOVIでやれば、BON JOVIになるであろう　tr. 4,5,7,8,9。。。と、「いい曲、満載」です。
　どの曲でも共通しているのが、Richieの「癖のない、ストレートなギター・歌唱」は、リスナーの心にストレートに響きます。

　バンドメンバーは、
Richie Sambora (G, Vo)
David Bryan (Key, BON JOVI)
Tony Levin (B, Stick, YES etc)
Tico Torres (Dr, BON JOVI) 　　 です。（ミニ・BON JOVIみたいな布陣です。）

　ゲストに、
Eric Clapton (tr.6で、G Solo）
Sting (tr. 6,9で、String Arrange）が参加！

　作曲陣には、Desmond Child、Dian Warren が参加！です。

　「BON JOVI ファン」、「Richie Samboraのソロを聴いたことが無い人」、
「BON JOVIのLiveで、Richieの声に、うっとりした人」に、オススメです。
　また、「Jon Bon Joviの声が、ちょっとしんどく感じる人(熱すぎる？と感じる人）」
「クリーンでBluesyなロックが好きな人（コテコテ系が苦手な人）」にも、いい1枚だと思います。

　なお、日本盤をオススメします。
　癖の強いJimi Hendrixを、さらりと味あわせてくれます。
