なつかしのジムクローチを探していました。
いろいろあるようですが、以下の理由でこれが一番です。
1様々なベスト版がでていましたが、これ一枚でほぼ全てが網羅されています。
2値段が安い。
3音質も悪くない。７０年代のアナログレコーディングですから元々それほど音は良くは無いのですが、他のジムクローチのＣＤに比べても遜色ありません。

と、言うわけで彼のＣＤとしては＃１です。

ギターを弾きながら、歌うシンガーソングライターJim Croce.７０年代初期に活躍した彼の作品集がこの２ＣＤで味わえる。この収録数にしてこの値段。安すぎる！

1973年に30歳で亡くなったジム・クローチの2枚組コンピレーションですが、"You Don't Mess Around with Jim (1972)", "Life and Time (1973)", "I've Got a Name (1973)"というジム・クローチの3枚のオリジナルアルバムに含まれる計34曲のうち、何故か" It Doesn't Have To Be That Way "と"Salon and Saloon"の2曲を欠いているのが残念。そこが気になる方には、多少高くてもオリジナル・アルバムの全34曲を収録し、またその他の未発表曲やそれ以前にCapitolからリリースされた妻のIngridとのデュオ・アルバムからの3曲などを含む"50th Anniversary Collection"の方をオススメします。
