バンドが解散するのではないか…等と憶測が飛んでいた時期に発表された一枚。ファンが求めていたテンポの良いチープなアメリカンロックの楽曲がしっかり詰まった一枚。

ところどころにその後のトレイシー・ガンズの方向性にも繋がるような楽曲が見られますが、不気味なまでに「L.A.GUNSらしい」アルバムだと思います。ところで、このアルバムの日本盤のボーナスの曲は、これがボーナス？と言いたくなる位の楽曲なので、日本盤でのお買い上げをお勧めいたします。

　'94年、アメリカでは既にハード・ロック壊滅時期。L.A.GUNS自体もDr.のSteveが脱退し、後任も転々として固定出来ずに製作された4thです。（ジャケにも4人しか（このバンドは5人編成）写ってません。）
　このアルバム前に、カバー集「CUTS」やライブ盤を出してますが、肝心のTraciiがサイド・プロジェクトKILLING MACHINEで活動開始、解散説が囁かれていました。
　アルバム全体に言える事ですが、1からして実に荒々しく、生々しいサウンド。勿論、310のような従来（2nd＆3rd）路線もあります。1stの感じに戻った、と言う人もいるでしょうが、1stのメタル的疾走感よりも、パンク的なヤケクソ感の方が強い気がします。9（曲名“Killing Machine”は先のプロジェクトとは無関係らしい）などは、殆どハード・コアです（名曲！）。
　この作品自体は、素晴らしい・格好良いロック作です。今聴いても充分エキサイトさせられます。ハードなものが好きで、L.A.GUNS未聴の方は、この作品から入るのも良いと思います。
