　　　　　この独特な 『 音 』 を聴いただけで 『 DAF 』だと言う事が判る。

　それだけ彼等が造り産み出したものは偉大であり、テクノルーツなどと呼ばれたり、後にその影響力を様々な形を変えて残し、少なからずDAF直系サウンドやジャーマン系、トランス系などにも根付いていると言える。（今現在のテクノサウンドと呼ばれるものとは趣旨趣向がかなり違うものだが、間違いなく原型である）
　テクノに興味があり、クラフトワークなども聴いてるが未聴な方は、ぜひ、独自性やテクノと呼ばれるサウンドにこうも違いがあるものなのか探索してみてはどうだろうか？

また、今現在に至るまでに時間が経とうとも腐らないサウンドと独自性を構築し、まさに『 DAF 』と名で呼ばれる音楽ジャンルを確立したと言っても決して大袈裟ではない。
幾ら枝分かれしても、後にも先にも、この存在感あるサウンドは『 DAF 』のみ、これからも君臨し聳え立つ事だろう。

さて、能書きはこの位にして、能内麻痺にも通ずる この気持ちの良い『音』の快感に酔いしれて欲しいと思う。

「この世で１番好きなバンドは？」と訊ねられたら○○○と答えることになってるんですが、「んじゃ、２番目は？」と聞かれたら、迷わず「ＤＡＦ！」と答えます。最初はユニットの形式がスーサイドと同じだったので「真似っ子か？」と思ってたんですが、とーんでもない。聴いたとたんにぶっとんで、以来２０余年私のベスト２の座を維持しつづけてます。まず、不世出の天才、故Ｃ.プランクの存在が何より大きい。プランクもの他にもイロイロ集めてるけど、ホントに外れが無い。凄いことであります。勿論Ｇ.デルガドロペスの汗臭いヴォオカルも、しっかりモータルビートなＲ.ゲールも良い良い。

ところで実は１曲目と７曲目（他にもあったかな？）にはちゃんとしたプロモヴィデオがあるんですけど、入手しそこないました（観た事はあるけど、実にＤＡＦっぽくて良い）。誰かご存知？

音楽からメロディの要素を取り除き、リズム（ビート）だけで、
POPな音楽を成立させた作品。
あらゆるパターンのシンプルなリフが、
エモーショナルなボーカルと渾然一体となって迫ってくる。
打ち込みのリズムだけにせず、手打ちのドラムスやボーカルを
絡める事で血の通った熱い音になっている。

そして、決して難解ではなくポップで解りやすい魅力もある。
これほど頭脳と肉体（筋肉）が一体となったロックを私は知らない。
コニー・プランクの仕事として、そしてDAFの作品としても
これが頂点ではないでしょうか。
