１９８４年にリリースされた５枚目のアルバムです。前作でのエレクトリックで実験的なポピュラリティの低いサウンドからのカウンターなのか、はたまたある意味での原点回帰なのか、初期にあったような明るいムードのエレクトロ・ポップ・サウンドが眩しい作品となっています。以前からあったポップなメロディ・ラインを前面に押し出し、スイートささえ感じられる所謂エレ・ポップ・サウンドへの突然の転身は、世間一般的にはセールス目当てだとか陰口を叩かれることもありましたが、決して現状維持を許さない、というか、それとも基本的に飽きっぽいのか、本人達にはごく自然な事だったようですね。ただ、一つ言えることは、初期のチープなエレ・ポップ路線では決して無くて、むしろ実験的な試行錯誤を繰り返した末のハイパー・アクティヴなエレクトロ・ポップとなっているのが特徴でしょうか。これまでもフューチャーされていたサンプリング・ノイズやサックスの生演奏を大々的に盛り込み、スイートでポップなメロディと、これまた甘めなヴォーカルとのマッチングもベストな、進化したＯＭＤ流ポップ・ソングが満載のアルバムです。シングル・カットされた「Locomotion」「Talking Loud and Clear」は、本国のみならずアメリカでの成功をももたらしました。本人達の意志かどうかは別ですが。
