5.0 out of 5 stars 名曲「サウダーヂス・ダ・バイーア」を収録, 2004/9/4
　このアルバムがCD化された時にジョビン目的で買った。ドリヴァル・カイミに関しては「DORA」等、他のアーティストがカバーしている曲で名前だけは知っていたが、その歌声を聴くのはこのアルバムが初めてだった。低くて良い声の持ち主であり、やはり作曲センスが光る人物。

　この中の曲では「サウダーヂス・ダ・バイーア」（作曲：ドリヴァル・カイミ）を特に気に入っている。後にドリヴァル・カイミ自身のアルバムでこの曲を演奏しているのを聴いたが、1957年のバージョンはショーロ色が強く、1965年のバージョンはラテン歌謡風である。このアルバムのバージョンがやはり洗練されている。ここでのイントロのフルートのフレーズがなんともたまらなく好きだ。私の好きなブラジルの曲のベスト5には入る。他の収録曲も良い。また、若き日のナナ･カイミの歌声を「トリステーザ・ヂ・ノス・ドイス」で聴くことが出来る。この曲はエリス・レジーナを始め、いろいろなアーティストが歌っているが、このバージョンが一番好きだ。それはナナ・カイミの声質によるところが大きい。この曲の持つムードとナナの声の切なさが絶妙にマッチしている。3曲目の「イヌーチル・パイザージェン」、8曲目の「セィン・ヴォセ」でもナナがボーカルだ。
　ジョビンは2曲でボーカルを取っているが、このアルバムでの主役はあくまでもカイミ・ファミリー。ジョビン度は低いが、ジョビンのファンは必ず押さえておくべき一枚。

デュークとコルトレーンの共演と同じく、ブラジルの新旧の芸術家の合作なんだけど、リラックス感がなんとも心地よい。リオの海岸でのビーチパラソルの下、沈みゆく太陽を眺めて聴きたい。なんとも素敵なアルバム

日本人に「あはれ」があるように、"SAUDADE"のこころはブラジル人にしか分からない、と昔聞いたことがあったが、初めてこのアルバムを聴いた時、それが分かった気がしたほど、とにかく素敵。それまでもスタン・ゲッツとジルベルトのアルバムなどを聴いてはいたが、この"Caymmi visita Tom"を聞いてからは更に、どこか憂鬱な雰囲気の漂うボサノヴァのとりことなった。（5年以上前に買ったのはジャケットや曲順などが今出ているのと少し違う。）《うつろな風景》は、"Elis&Tom"のもいいけれど、こっちの方が更に暮れた感じがしてSAUDADE度が高い?気がする。"Das Rosas-薔薇"は、映画「男と女」の
Pierre Barouhがフランス語で歌っているが、歌詞の内容と印象がかなり違う。
