へんに甘ったるいわけではないけど、バリバリのロックってことでもない、自分にはちょうどいい具合の曲ばかりでした。とにかくメロディーのよさは他のバンド（これを書く時点ではFFの他のアルバムを買ってないので過去の作品とは比較できないけど）からずば抜けてる感じを受けました。それに、良い意味でまとまってると思う。（はじめの１曲だけずれてるように思わなくもない…）
さすがベテランでも曲は新鮮と、聴けばきっとべた褒めしたくなるでしょう。
結構このアルバムを名盤という人が多いみたいだし、人によってはずれってことは少ないんじゃないでしょうか。おすすめです。

ほんっとにこのアルバムは最高です！とにかくこのアルバムを一度聴けば、気に入ること間違いなしです☆3曲目「LEARN TO FLY」8曲目「NEXT YEAR」12曲目のボーナストラック「FRATERNITY」めちゃくちゃいいです♪聴かなきゃ損ですよ！

このフーファイターズ＝デイブ・グロールにはホントに
同情したい気持ちで一杯だ。
ニルバーナのカリスマGt、カート・コバーンが９４年の
４月に自殺して、その時点で事実上のバンド解散という、
衝撃的な事件がありながら、その半年後にDrの
デイブ・グロールが自ら全パートを担当して、
初アルバムを作り、ソロとして活動するのではなく、
あくまでもその先を見据えてバンドとしてこだわり、
「フー・ファイターズ」と命名した、涙ぐましい話があるのだ。
それから、メンバーも揃えて活動するも、メンバーが定まらず、
「失うものは何も無い」と言う題で作られた、
この３枚目のアルバムだが、このアルバムで実は
グラミー賞を取っている素晴らしいアルバムなのだ。
まぁ、あまり男のうなじをマジマジと見るもんじゃないが、
内容は、非常に聞きやすいので、是非入門編として
聞いていただきたい。
実際、ニルバーナが好きだった人には2の
「ブレイク・アウト」をお薦めしよう。
ある意味、ニルバーナ節が炸裂しているからだ。
あとは、２，３年前のノエビア化粧品のCMで使われていた3の
「リーン・トゥ・フライ」もカッコイイので是非。
色々と大変だけどデイブ君、頑張ってね。
