グートレーベルに残した坂本の作品の内、「sweet revenge」「SMOOCHY 」「１９９６」３枚のアルバムにボーナスＣＤが付き、別々に買うよりもこれはお買い得です。マスタリングもＨＤＣＤになり、音質も文句無し！困るのは、１枚でもこの中のアルバムを持っていると、迷ってしまう事です。私は、しばらくグート時代の作品を買っていなかったので、これを買いました。紙ジャケットですが、箱から取り出すのがきつくてやりにくいのは、もっと考えて欲しかった。

3枚のディスクは、フォーライフからすでに発売されているオリジナルアルバムのリマスタリング盤。フォーライフに来てからの坂本龍一は思いのほかポップな2枚を出し、日本ゴールドディスク賞にも輝いた名盤1996を発売。4枚目は、在籍時の未発表音源。基本的にライブ音源で構成されるが、El Mar Mediterraniのライブ音源はちょっと貴重かもしれない。この楽曲、もともと1992年のバルセロナオリンピックの開会式のテーマ。坂本龍一自身指揮を執った。オリジナルよりも、ちょっとテンポが速いような気がするのが残念。オリジナルの重厚なイメージが薄らいで締まったような気がする。

いずれにせよ、微妙な作品だ。

最近、坂本龍一に興味を持った、またファンになってこの時代の作品をまとめて買いたいという方にはお得だと思います。
しかし、既に坂本ファンで「EXTRA INDEX」以外のＣＤを購入している方には微妙ではないでしょうか。
「EXTRA INDEX」を聞きたいがため、私は中古で購入いたしました。坂本さんがとても好きな方は持っていても損はないかもしれませんが、本音を言えば「EXTRA INDEX」の音源だけを安くで発売していただければ嬉しかったです。
この４枚目の「El Mar Medtarrani」は、クレジットに、指揮・佐渡裕さん（ピアノ・坂本さん）とありますので、恐らく「PLAYING THE ORCHESTRA 1997 "f"」からのものではないかと思います。（詳しいクレジットが載っておりませんでした。）
また「The Other Side Of Love」は、1997/4/6、The Hit Factory/N.Y.の録音です。私の記憶に頼るのですが（間違っていたらご指摘下さい）何かのテレビ番組で中継された演奏と似ていますので、その録音ではないかと思います。
私自身は、安く提供して下さったので満足しております。
