60年代とはガール･ポップの最盛期だったわけですが、このミーナは、イタリアのシンガーで、日本でもジリオラ・チンクエッティと並ぶ人気者です。この時代は、本当に実力が伴ったアイドルというか、歌が上手い人が多いのですが、彼女もカンツォーネをルーツに持つ大変上手い歌手で、いかにもイタリア人らしい力強い歌が聴けます。タイトル曲の「砂に消えた涙」は日本では、シングルで日本語版もありヒットした曲、また「月影のナポリ」は無名だった森山加代子がカバーしてスターに押し上げた曲です。全20曲、さまざまなタイプの曲を歌っていますが、しっかりとしたイタリアポップが好きな人にはバッチリだと思います。逆にドリーミーなソフトロック的なものを望んでいる方には、パワフルすぎるかもしれません。
あと、歌詞と対訳があるのはいいのですが、できれば詳細な解説も欲しかったです。
