ソフトウェアで作る音楽も、ご大層なオーケストレーションも用いず、
トイピアノ、アコースティックな伝統楽器、哀愁漂うエレキギターなど、
素朴な音源から独特な世界をつむぎだす異色のアーチストです。
言葉で言い表すには多様で、表現に困りますが、ジム・ジャームッシュや
アキ・カウリスマキの映画音楽に使えそう・・・といえば、少しはその
感じが伝わるでしょうか。素朴な楽器で独特な世界、というと
トム・ウェイツの音楽に近いかもしれませんが、トムの音楽がノイズや
シャウトの「崩し」を使っていくのに対し、コメラードの音楽はかなり
しっかりした骨格を感じさせるので、あまり「崩れた」印象はありません。
アメリカとヨーロッパの違いでしょうか。ともあれ、ご一聴を！
