本作は、78年のファースト・ソロ・アルバム『千のナイフ』、79年に参加した渡辺香津美のアルバム『KYLYN』、そして81年に古楽器ユニット、ダンスリーと組んでレコーディングした『THE END OF ASIA』からの作品で構成されている。坂本音楽のルーツが詰め込まれたベスト盤だ。（多田ライコウ）
