音楽はいうにおよばず、向上した音質とも素晴らしい。だが添付されている歌詞カードが間違いだらけ。これは数年前に再発売されたオリジナル・アルバムも同様。ＬＰ当時の間違いがそのままのものもあり、文法的におかしかったり、意味がつながらなかったりするはずなのに訂正されていない。ジョン・フォガテイの英語が聞き取りにくいことを差し引いても、おおよ英語力が低い（もしくは全くない）人の作業としか考えられない。それを丁寧に日本語訳しているのだから、二重の意味で恐れ入る。歌詞カードも商品の一部と考えれば、星２つは減点されるでしょう。

　これぞ、アメリカンロック！とにかく渋い！これ１枚でＣＣＲの全てが分かるといっても過言ではないほど、ベストヒットの選曲だ。曲の感じは、カントリー・Ｒ＆Ｂ・ブルースの要素を含んだアメリカンロック。３曲目と１７曲目はあまりにも有名なので、どこかで１度は耳にしたことがあるのではないだろうか。まずはこのベストを聴いて、ＣＣＲの良さを感じて頂きたい。

７０年代のアメリカロックあまり聴かない私が、珍しく大好きなバンドです。どれもこれも良い曲ばかりです。これぞ７０年代の匂いがプンプンします。浸って下さい。タイムスリップしちゃいますね。
