5.0 out of 5 stars Styxファンは、迷わず買うべし, 2005/5/27
再結成スティクスが、地元・シカゴで行ったノリノリのライブ。代表曲がほぼもれなく演奏されている上に、この演奏が素晴らしい。なるほど、この曲はこう表現したかったのか！と、ファンであれば改めて納得するほどに充実したパフォーマンスである。リラックスした演奏は現役当時よりもはるかにこなれているし、亡くなったドラマーのジョンには申し訳ないけれど、今風の力強いドラムにより、各曲の魅力がくっきりと浮き上がっている。曲によってはオリジナルの演奏を超えているし、MCも含めてこのバンドの歴史を再確認できるのがうれしい。この延長線上で、新生スティクスが続いてくれれば良かったのだが、そううまくはいかなかった。残念。
ともあれ、スティクス・ファンを自認する方であれば、買って損はない、いや、買わなければこのバンドの魅力を見逃してしまう、それほどに優れたＣＤだと思う。
ちなみに国内版と輸入盤の内容は同じなので、どちらを買うかはお好みで。

5.0 out of 5 stars 悲しみを乗り越えて, 2003/1/8
オリジナル・メンバーのジョン・パノッゾが急逝した直後の作品。悲報にめげず素晴らしい作品に仕上がり、ファンの方なら救われる思いでしょう。
ＳＴＹＸにはもう一つ"CAUGHT IN THE ACT"というライヴ盤がありますが、仕上がりは明らかにこちらの方が上です。
再結成後の"EDGE OF THE CENTURY"より佳曲の"SHOW ME THE WAY"も収録されています。
