シナジー、３枚目のスタジオアルバムは最高の完成度！北欧メタル特有のメロディアスな曲調とへヴィなギターリフが重なり、聞く者を圧倒する。特に女性ヴォーカリスト、キンバリーゴスの歌声は時に激しく力強く、時にはやさしい伸びのある声が最高！また、リードギタリストのアレキシライホはテクニカルかつヘヴィにギターをガンガン掻きならす。演奏で言えばメンバー全員が非常に演奏能力が高く、どのパートも音を潰し合う事無くしっかりと自己主張しているところが最高です。スーサイド・バイ・マイ・サイド。このアルバムは名盤でしょう！

Children Of Bodomの中心人物であるAlexi LaihoとIn FlamesのギタリストであるJesper Strombladの2人が参加しているバンドのデビューアルバム。

Vo.はルックスからして迫力があるKimberly Goss。ジャンルは王道とも言える正統派HM、AlexiのリフにKimberlyのパワフルな声が乗っかってるのには素直にカッコイイと思わされます。アルバムを通して北欧らしいフックのあるメロディが多いです。5.Beware The Heavensの扇情的なAlexiのギタープレイはカッコイイ!!

全体的にAlexiの色が強いように思いますが、Children~とはまた違ったギタープレイをしていると感じました。Children~はキーボードとの絡み合いが一つのポイントになってるのでかなり弾きまくってますが、こちらのSinergyでは楽曲に溶け込むようなプレイをしてます。
