ディープフォレストは「スタジオで曲をつくる」タイプのミュージシャンで、
彼らが手がけていった数々の曲も「スタジオでしかできない曲」のため、
おそらくだれもがディープフォレストを「ライブのできないミュージシャン」
と思っていたと思う。実際、僕もその一人だったし、彼らのライブに一度も

行ったことがなかったので、このアルバムを聴くまでは不安だった。
でも一曲目の「エクエ　エクエ」を聴いたとたん、体がノりだした。
「コンパルサ」に収められている「エクエ　エクエ」のライブバージョン

ともいうべきものになっており、アルバム中のものとは別物の、リズミカルな曲に仕上がっていた。他の曲すべてもライブバージョンになっていて、あの曲
もこんな曲もみなライブならではのものになっている。
文字通り普通のアルバムとは違う「ライブアルバム」。これを聴けば絶対に
ディープフォレストのすごさを改めて認識してしまうであろう、ボリューム

満載の一枚だ。

この手のユニットはスタジオで打ち込みという感じで楽器はあまりうまくないという偏見を持ってましたが、このCDを聞くと見事にその偏見を打ち破ってくれます。
楽器めちゃウマ。予想外のアツイライブを聞かせてくれます。
あまり面白みを感じてなかったDeep Forestですが、このCDで一気に
彼らに対する認識が変わりました。

こんなに情熱的な音楽だったんだってね。
