スラッジコアやノイズ／アヴァンギャルドやジャパコアなど、彼らは地下音楽が心底大好きなのです。
それが如実に現れた傑作2nd。
そういった地下のヘドロを盛り込みつつも、PVになったM-4のようなややもするとキャッチーな名曲をリーダートラックに据えているのだからタチが悪い。
本作を機に、地下音楽の泥濘に手を突っ込んでしまうこと受け合い。
次作「Sound Of Animal Kingdom」も凄いが、録音状況の良さを考えるとこちらに軍配を上げたくなる。

M-9はGERMSのカヴァーで、EYEHATEGODのマイク・ウィリアムス参加。
M-16は言わずと知れたPINK FLOYDのカヴァー(!?)。「止めろ」と言われてるのに一向に止めないケヴィンに失笑。
M-19の原題は“B.T.I.T.B.”で、“BRUTAL TRUTH IS THE BASTARD”の略。MAN IS THE BASTARDへのオマージュ曲になっている。

ファーストアルバムほどの破天荒っぷりは影をひそめたが、それでもブチ切れ具合は流石の一言。
スローでドゥームな雰囲気満点の曲や、ノイズミュージックへの精通ぶりが発揮されている曲も収録されており、バラエティも豊か。
速いだけの一本調子なアルバムではない。バンドの成長が表われた結果だろうか。

ミドルテンポから始まったかと思いきや、そこから轟音雑音ブラストビートのオンパレード。
このバンドの面白いとこはアルバム出すごとに全然違う音を出す。(と俺は馬鹿だから思い込んでる)
前作「激昂たれ」よりノイズ感がアップしており…
まぁ歴史に残る名盤だから買いなされ!
