「イエローマン~星の王子様~」
曲名を聴くだけでなんだか面白そうな感じなんですが、歌詞の内容もちょっと意味がわからなくて面白いです。　

アレンジは今風のデジタルサウンドでサザンでは珍しい感じです。ギターが結構効いてるのでロックに分類されると思いますが、効果音でポップな感じにも聞こえます。アップテンポな曲なので、最近ではライブの定番となりつつあり、カラオケでも盛り上がります。そのときは「Tu ru ru…」の時の手の振りを忘れずに。

そして忘れてはいけないのがカップリング曲の「夏の日のドラマ」です。
メインボーカルはドラムスの松田弘さんがとっているんですが、すごい透き通った優しい声で、曲自体もメロディラインが素晴らしいので、とても良い曲です。松田さんの声にはサザンファンにも熱烈なファンは多いです。

「イエローマン~星の王子様~」の方はライブなどでも重要なナンバーであるにもかかわらず、どのアルバムにも収録されていないので、シングルを買っても損は無いと思います。
一度聴けばカラオケで歌いたくなるような、そんな曲です！

全体的に電子音を大量に使った曲で、サザンの曲の中でも珍しいので、おすすめです。

かなりノリのいい歌が、桑田のセンスの良さを教えてくれます。
この歌の特徴は、聴くより歌ってみること。つい体が動いてしまうでしょう。

また、さびの部分「イエローマン！下衆なＰＲＥＳＵＲＥを頂戴Ａａａ・・」
というところがありますが、ココの部分はメロディーと歌詞がよく合うんです。歌っていると気持ちいいですよ。
