最近になってこの作品を購入しましたが、イイですね････！！今の彼女とは違うありのままの濱崎歩を出した作品といえるのでは？何よりうれしかったのは歌詞カードに直筆のメッセージ(？)がつづられていたコト。これにはファンとして感激しました。

まず現在の彼女とはまったくの別人であるといわれる1stアルバムだけど
基本的なところはそれほど変わっていないのではないかと思う。
確かに歌唱力が上がったり見た目がケバくなったなどの変化はあるけど
歌詞は決して明るいとは言えないし歌っていることもそんなに違わないんじゃないかな。
楽曲は現在と比べればわかりやすいアイドルポップス風だけど
『A Song for ××』『Trust』『Depend on you』などは代表曲といってもいい名曲だと思う。
それらはベストでも聴けるがあちらはリテイクなので
オリジナルはこのアルバムかシングルでしか聴けない。要チェック。

一人の少女、浜崎あゆみとして作られた唯一のアルバム。

2nd以降は“芸能人、浜崎あゆみ”の目線から綴られた詞が多い（特に３ｒｄアルバムなど）中、
唯一このアルバムでは一人の少女の孤独と決意が描かれています。

曲調もそれほどキャッチーではなく落ち着いた感じの曲がほとんどで、
それゆえに彼女の詞の世界がころされることなく、
その詞にこめられたひたむきさをさりげなく際立たせているように感じます。

一人の少女が抱いた想いを声にしたこのアルバム。
一度聞いてみてください。
