鼓童及びそのメンバーのユニークな活動と高い音楽性は内外とも広く知られている。
このアルバムは，彼らの録音した作品の中から自由に選ばれた曲をリミックスしたものばかりを集めたもので，ＣＤ作品としてもかなりユニークである。
リミックスはいずれも成功しており日本人だけではなく海外の人々にも容易に受け入れやすい新たな作品群として生まれ変わっているように思う。
とりわけ，北野武監督『座頭市』のラストシーン（タップダンス）に出てくる曲とよく似た第１曲「Strobe's Nanafushi (Satori Mix)」は特に良いできばえで，Buddha Bar III の中にも採録されている。
日本テイストのラウンジ音楽としての一つの方向性と可能性を示す優れた作品ではないかと思われる。
お勧めの一枚。
