80年代のヒット曲を書いたソングライターがずらりとそろったファーギーの99年のソロ作は80年代のＴＯＴＯやシカゴに迫るＡＯＲの傑作アルバムに仕上がった。オープニングのBlaze Of Loveはスターシップに使われる予定だった作品だったとか。３番目のタイトル曲Equilibriumはあのサバイバーのジム・ピータリックの作品だけあってスケールが大きくキャッチ―な曲である。ジム・ピータリックとはThe Truth Is Good Enoughでも共作しているがこちらはピーター・セテラ風のバラード。あとMr. ミスターのリチャード・ページの曲Falling Into Graceもなかなか味わいがある。Crazyはシカゴで使われる予定だった曲でファーギーが復活させてくれたのはうれしい。全体のムードとしてはシカゴの17から19、ＴＯＴＯでいうとセブンス・ワン、メッカのデビューで言うと後半部分に近いというところであろうか。ファーギーのファンのみならず、シカゴ、ＴＯＴＯ、サバイバー、スターシップを楽しむ音楽ファンにもアピールするであろう。
