上記タイトルの様なジンクスがあったりする。これ以前に出た
「The other side of love」もそうだったし、いわゆる「お仕事」で
作られた音楽ですね。

そういう音楽は発注に見合ったものを作るので、いい意味で力が抜けて
います。そういう時の音楽は「わかりやすくて、きもちいい」のです。
教授信者の私としては、「わかりにくいけど、きもちいい」教授もどう
ですか？とお勧めしたい所ですが、とはいえ今作が「いい音楽」である
ことは変わりないわけで。

教授は今作が売れたことに若干のむず痒さを感じていらっしゃった様で
すが、んなことは知りません（笑）作り手がどう思おうが、いいものは
いいんです。

教授が時折かます、恐るべき名曲集。
どっかで聞いたことある、とっても癒される。
買っておいて絶対損なしの一枚です。
全てタイアップする恐ろしさもすごい。クラシック秀作。

一時期流行りに流行った「癒し系音楽」の先駆け的存在です。
私は当時、大学受験のストレス対策に買い、ヘビーローテーションしてました。
今となっては懐かしい話ですが。

さて、この音楽が後の「癒し系」音楽と違う点は、
ただ落ち着くだけでなく、ノスタルジーを感じさせられ、
センチメンタルな気持ちになるあたり。
童謡にも似たこの感覚を味わえますのは私だけではないはず。
それが大きな魅力のひとつであり、
何度聴いても飽きのこないスルメ曲になっている要因だと思ってます。

そんなわけでこのＣＤには一世を風靡した『energy flow』をはじめ
３曲が収録されてますが、いずれ劣らず、
今聞いても色褪せない名曲たちです。

痛みやすい紙のパッケージだけは残念。
