９１年の作品で、"Five by Pizzicato Five"の２枚目。このミニアルバムから田島貴男が脱退し、野宮マキが正式メンバーとなる。（田島貴男はオリジナルラブがメジャーデビューして活動のメインをそちらへ移した）。１曲めは"SEVEN GODS RECORDS"の朝田社長のスピーチ。これが結婚式に良くあるダラダラとした、長ったらしいスピーチで、そこが面白いといえば面白い。２曲めがいわゆるパワー全開系のポップチューン。曲の後半でフレンチポップのようなボソボソトークが入っていて、それが３曲目の「This year's girl #1」の野宮マキのインタビューにつながります。"好きな色は？"、"赤"とかどうでもいいようなことを延々とインタビューして、その様子が淡々としたリズムトラックに乗っている。聴きようによってはAVのインタビューのような、ちょっとアヤシイ雰囲気ですね。小西君はこの頃のインタビューで”雑音でもなんでも、録音してインデックスをふれば、CDの曲になるんだ”と言ってました。また別のインタビューでは”天才には生涯に一つの最高の作品を残すタイプと、手塚治虫のような、生涯作品を作りつづけた多作のタイプがある。僕たちは多作の人になる”といっていました。非常に印象に残ってます。お勧めは４曲目の「大人になりましょう」です。曲全体に古い日本映画のセリフがちりばめられていて、面白いです。このセリフのコラージュは芸術家の沼田元気さんが担当。一説によるとこのセリフはサンプリングではなく、スタジオで小西君の声を編集したものだ、という噂もありました。どっちにしても、このコラージュはすごいです。一見の価値あり。

マニアックな趣味と明るい実験性が愉快に調和した、これこそピチカートの「夜明け前」なのでした。この頃の小西さんが一番面白かったのは、高浪さんとのバランスがあったからです。
