5.0 out of 5 stars 忘れられそうですが、忘れてはいけない名盤, 2005/5/26
名盤「LOW　BUDGET」とアメリカで売れまくった「STATE　OF CONFUSION」の間に挟まったため、
忘れがちなアルバムですが、アルバムとしてのできはその両アルバムに勝るとも劣らないできのアルバムです。
”Around The Dial”オープニングのこの曲は大変格好よくはじまります。（キンクスのアルバムの一曲目はいつもつかみがよいです）。
そして２曲目のアルバムのタイトル曲”Give The People What They Want”は今もでもコンサートでは歌われる曲で、テンポよく続きます。
それ以外にも同じくまだコンサートで歌われる”Destroyer”、昔のキンクスを思い出すような”Art Lover”
そして最後には流れるようなメロディ０の”Better Things”まで全く無駄なく曲が続きます。
最初に書きましたが、忘れられがちなアルバムですが、決して忘れてはいけない名盤だと思います。
