１９９９年リリースの初代ボーカリスト・ボビーキンボールがカムバックしての１枚・・・いろいろ遠回りしましたが、落ち着く所に落ちついた感じです。１４曲入りでかなり気合いの入ったアルバムで、聴き応え十分の内容に仕上がっています。２曲目のボビーのボーカルを聴くと、やっぱりＴＯＴＯをロックさせるのは彼の声なんだなあと感心させられました。９曲目「マッドアバウトユー」はデヴィッドペイチと脱退したジョゼフウィリアムスの共作で、ボビーの伸びのあるボーカルが気持ちいいです！！１１曲目スティーヴルカサーが淡々と歌う「メラニー」はなかなか印象に残る曲で良かったです。１３曲目「ベターワールド」は卓越した音楽性・演奏力を見せつけるプログレッシヴな７分の大作・・・本当巧いバンド!!！！お帰りボビー！！

初代ボーカリスト、ボビー・キンボールが戻ってきた、オリジナルアルバムとしては10作目にあたる99年の作品。
全盛期ほどの声の張りがないとは言え、ボビーが戻ってきたことで昔のＴＯＴＯの輝きが感じられたものの、70分を超える聴き応えの反面、正直捨て曲が何曲かあったのは残念だった。

とはいえ、7は近年の中では傑作でライブでは盛り上がると思うし（実際、このアルバムに伴うツアーではオープニング曲だった）、9はＴＯＴＯらしい軽快な作品だし、ドラムのサイモンの作品12もお勧めできる。

才能、枯れ果てましたって言ってる様なアルバム。
まだバンド続けたいなら、エアロスミスじゃないけど外部のソングライターに任せたらどぅかな
初期からのファンが近年のアルバムに対し辛口なのはtotoを愛してるからだと思うよ。
