当時はミーハーすぎて倦厭がちでしたが、今聞いてみると、不思議と元気がでます。一言いうとすれば肝心の「Careless．．．」が入ってないことかな。'Everything she wants '97"　と　”I'm Your Man '96”はWham!というより、ジョージ・マイケルですよね。この２曲いれるんだったら、”Careless．．”入っているのにしとけばよかった。失敗！

ジョージ・マイケルがデビュー時に在籍していたグループです。日本ではラスト・クリスマスのグループとしても有名ですが、このベストの中には彼らのアイドル的な部分、そしてアーティストとしての部分が満載しています。デビュー作であるラップ曲、WHAM!RAPや日本でも人気曲であるWAKE ME UP BEFORE YOU GO-GO、CLUB TROPICANA、EVERYTHING YOU WANT（こちらはジョージ・マイケルのセルフカバーも収録）といった楽曲が揃っています。
ただ、全米一位を取った楽曲であるCARELESS WHISPERは名義が「WHAM!フィーチャリング・ジョージマイケル」だった為なのか、このアルバムには収録されていません。

勿論、楽曲はジョージ・マイケルの手によるもので、ジョージ・マイケルのファンの人が試しに手に取ってみても納得の一枚だと思います。

　今ワムが再評価をうけている中でのベスト盤リリース。「ファイナル」もベスト盤といえるのでそちらに目がいきます。なぜなら、ファイナルには、ケアレスウィスパーやディファレントコーナーといった名バラードが入っているから。このベストには入っていません。でもこちらが正真正銘のワムののベストです。複雑なのですが、実は「ケアレス~」と「ディファレント~」は、イギリスではワムではなく、ジョージマイケルとしてリリースされています。「MAKE　IT　BIG」以降、ジョージは音楽にアンドリューはカースポーツに別れ、本来音楽志向の強いジョージがバラード系は自分の名前でリリースすることにしたのです。
それまでも共作などありますが、ジョージ自体がワムだというとらえ方もできるのですが。ですからこのワムベストの選曲が本来のワムのベストであって、決して抜けているわけではありません。ただやはり聞きたいというのが本音です。元気なワムが勢揃いしている内容になっています。
