１st「MIND'S EYE」でデビューしたときには、イングヴェイ・フォロワー最右翼と言われていた
ヴィニー・ムーアですが、その後、２nd「TIME ODYSSEY」でジャズ/フュージョンよりに路線変
更。３rd「MELTDOWN」以降は、ブルース/ファンク色の強い作風でした。

本作品は、ついにネオ・クラシカルなサウンドに原点回帰。今までの鬱憤を晴らすかの様なテクニ
カルなヴィニー節がいたるところで聞けます。

メンバーは、Dave LaRue（B.）、Shane Gaalaas（Dr.）、Tony MacAlpine（Key）で、
「The Maze」、「The Thinking Machine」に見られるペダル・ノート、リニア・ノート等のク
ラシカル・フレーズで畳み掛けるヘヴィーな曲が多く、事実上の1st作品の延長線的作品です。

ヴィニーのソロ作品最高傑作の１つと言えるでしょう。

相変わらずの超絶技巧が詰まっている作品ではありますが、早弾きで圧倒するようなプレイはほとんどありません。彼のアルバムは元々捨て曲がほとんど見当たらないのですが、楽曲の充実度では本作が最高かもしれません。ジャンルを越えて多くの音楽ファンにアピールしうるアルバムです。

ホントに彼は引き出しが多いですね(^^)

ネオクラに留まらず、さまざまなジャンルの曲に対応できる
彼のセンスがこのアルバムで確認できます。

速弾きに関しては言うまでもない正確さ(笑)
歪みも程よくインストとしては非常に聞きやすい出来じゃないでしょうか？

私個人の好みだと8曲目のRainがお気に入りですね♪

ギタリストの方はもちろん、
ネオクラ好きの方は必聴の一枚です！
