このシリーズ1はマイケル・フォーチュナティを初めとして
王道ばかり収録されていています。
また曲の継ぎ目があっさりしていて無駄な部分が無く
聴きやすいです。
「ラッキーラヴ」から「愛が止まらない」に繋がる所は
初めて聴いたとき思わずゾクゾクしてしまいました。

この手のノンストップ・コンピは他社からも数多く出ていますが

このCDの完成度は高く耳の肥えたユーロビート好きでも
きっと満足するのではないかと思います。

当時の世の中は、なんだか訳のわからないような、バブル景気の高気圧の嵐の中で、私は大学生でした。もちろん、ＤＣブランド＝ディスコ＝ユーロビート＝♪ギヴ・ミー・アップ(マイケル・フォーチュナティ)が、私にとっては・・・きょーーーれつなイメージと記憶があります。何度この曲と共に・・・若さのスロットル全開で、はじけていたでしょう。携帯もメールこそなかったけれど、僕たちの栄光の時代、んん！黄金の時代ですね。『あの８０年代に帰りたい！』

ダンスマニア･スーパークラシックスのシリーズは80'sユーロビートを重点的に攻めていますが、
第一弾であるこの作品はロックやソウルなど多少幅を広げた選曲になっています。
最近の80'sブームでは主に上半期のニューロマやエレポップなどが多いですが、このCDではまた違った80'sを見ることもできるでしょう。
名曲ぞろいなので一気に最後まで聞けますよ。

最近華麗なる復活を遂げたカイリーの曲が2曲続けて入っているのも注目。
