レコードの時代から、全ての曲を持っていて、コンサートにも行って、CDも持っている。オリジナルはもちろんの事、カヴァー曲も原曲を越える個性と声の美しさ。「オンリーユー」「ユーアーエブリシング」は絶品。昔のジャズも、ちゃんとソウルになっていて、ジャズファンも、ロックファンもスタイリスティックスだけは、別格と言っていた。流していると小学生から大人まで、「きれいな声！なんていう曲ですか？」と興味を示す。英語も日本人にわかる。歌い易く、覚え易い。「ディスコベイビー」のようなダンスソングも良いが、ムーディーなラブソングは、どんな女性も「恋のとりこ」にする事請け合いです。とにかく、皆に聞いて欲しい。私の所有する何百枚の内の最高のCDです。

正に癒し系のＣＤだ！なんて歌声もコーラスも曲も素晴らしいのだろうか。ジャンルを超えた名盤である！あまりにグットくるものがあり過ぎて、胸が締め付けられそうだ。選曲も抜群で勝手にベスト１０を作ってしまいました。「ハーレムのバラ」「１６小節の恋」「君がテレビ・スターなら」「フロム・ザ・マウンテン」「愛がすべて」「誓い」「ゴーリー・ナウ」「涙の試練」「愛のとりこ」「ラブ・イズ・ジ・アンサー」他にも名曲の数々が埋まってます。彼らのサウンドにかかせない楽器はずばりエレキ・シタールとラッパです。この二つの楽器とファルセット・ヴォイスが上手く絡まりあって最高のサウンドを作り上げています。一家に一枚、ひとりに一枚でも結構です。それほど完成度の高いコンピレーションものです。
