HOLEの他のアルバムに比べて、Vo.のコートニーの魅力が
存分に引き出されている作品です。
太く低い彼女の声は男性にも劣らないほどかっこいい！
これほどかっこ良くてセクシーな声は聴かないと損です！
アルバムの構成も聴きやすく、まさに名作！
さすが、カート・コバーンを尻に敷くだけのことはあります！

それまで海外のアーティストには、ほとんど興味のなかった私。90年代前半に青春を送ったせいか、日本のAcid Jazzやクラブ・ミュージックばかり聴いていたのですが、アメリカ留学を期に、タイトルと同名のシングル、セレブリティー・スキンをMTVのModel Searchの宣伝のBGMで使われていたのを聴きました。(ちなみにメンバーも出演してました。)とにかく全ての曲がすばらしいです。すごくシンプルで、あー、アメリカにはまだロックを好きな人が沢山いるんだろうな、と思わされるものでした。アメリカの西海岸で聴くと特にハマるアルバムです。アメリカ旅行の際には、ぜひご持参を。
