Vinyl時代　日本盤としては3番目に発売されました。
身構えて聞いたところ　Chuck RainyとEd GreenのRhythm隊を従え　聞こえてきたのは　意外にもLes McCann/Eddie Harrisを思わせる比較的親しみ易いJazz-Funkで　ほっとしたというのが正直な感想。　それでも　Sweet SurrenderやMake It RightのおどろおどろしいStringsをも圧倒するVocalは凄いですね。　そしてGet On TopのVocalは　師の数々の実験の集大成と私は捉えています。
ただ試行錯誤していた間に　時代はTimの集大成に追いつき追い越してしまったのかも。
