ロックと言う音楽を聴き始めてもう３０年になる。が、このバンドの存在は知っていたが
メンバーの名前すら知らない、ましてや曲など知らない私でしたがある日いつもの様に商品を見ていたらこのジャケットに目を奪われて即購入、そして聴いてみた。何だこのリズム、何だか分からないがス・ゴ・イゾ。今まで何を聞いていたんだ、俺は・・・・・・皆さんには３０年も待たせたくないので言いたい。騙されたと思って聴いて。そしてこの一枚をきっかけにどんどん深みにはまりましょう。３０年目にしてますます楽しみが増えた４０半ばのおやじでした。

個人的にはこのアルバムがボンスコット時代の最高傑作だと思います。こう言うとコアなファンからお叱りを受けそうですね。AC/DCはすべて最高だって・・・・。確かにそうなのですが、このアルバムがもっとも日本人受けする内容なのも事実でしょう。
もしもあなたがこれからAC/DCを聴いてみようとお考えならば、本アルバムHighway To Hellから聴くことをお薦めします。AC/DCの、そしてロックンロールの魅力を存分に楽しめるはずです!

故ボンスコット在籍の最後のアルバム。
全米１９位まで上昇し、彼らのこれからを期待させた作品です。

次作以降の彼らは、完成されたＨＭをリリースし、全世界の支持を
集めましたが、この作品までは日本では超マイナーな扱でおりました。

しかし、一度この作品に触れれば、本当にカッコイイサウンドで、

なんで人々はこれを知らなかったのか、不思議でナリマセン。
（確かにパンク全盛の当時では、このテのサウンドは受け入れられ
　なかったのでしょうが）

今でもライブ演奏される1268や、3なんて、超名曲です。
蛇足ながら、1のＶＩＤＥＯクリップを見たことがあるのですが、
ボンは最高にカッコイイです。

ちなみに6をライブでやりながら、必ずアンガスのストリップが
始まる!んですよね。（さすがに御尻は本当には出さなくなったみたい
だけど）

ボンのしわがれた声に、すこしスキを残したタテノリのリズムは
最高にフィットしていて、カッコいいアルバムです。
是非購入して首を振ってください！！
