　これは先にリリースしていたシングルですでにプレスに大絶賛されていたエンブレイスの９８年リリースのファーストアルバムです。実は９７年にはアルバムが完成していたのですが、オアシスのサードアルバムと重なるために９８年に発売をずらしたそうです。実際、その完成度は高く、ストリングスが効果的に使われていたりして、本当にデビューアルバム？と疑いたくなる出来栄えです。
　僕はこのＣＤをレコ屋の「オアシスの曲とヴァーヴの声を足したようなバンド」というコメントに惹かれて即買いしました。まあこのコメントは聴いてみてどうかなと思いましたが、バラードはホント良くて、彼らのスタイルを確立した一枚なんじゃないかなと思います。

私は、ブリットポップが大好きですが、オアシスだけは聴く気になれないし
アルバムも持っていません。
このエンブレイスというバンドは、うかつに聴くとオアシスの亜流に聴こえてしまい
とても危険です。
そんなときは、タイトルチューンの「グッド　ウィル　アウト」を聴きながら
ラ・ラ・ラと一緒に歌ってみましょう。素敵な気持ちになれるはずです。
トラヴィスを聴いているかの如く。

オアシスをコケにしてたので、ファンから冷たい目で見られた彼らですが、とてもいいバンドですよ。
派手さはないですが、トラヴィスとか好きな人は是非。
ボーナストラックのFree Rideは名曲です。
