３ｒｄアルバム、「メロンコリ-そして終りのない悲しみ」からのシングル。明るくファンタジー的な面をもった 1st シングル「Tonight, Tonight」が白パンプキンズとすれば、このヘビーなタイトルトラックを冠したシングルは黒パンプキンズ。ZERO 以外もあくまでも Heavyness さを追求した楽曲で構成されている。圧巻は７曲目の「パステチオ・メロディー」。アルバムに収録されることのなかった多数の曲を切り刻み、断片をつなぎあわせることで１７分におよぶ驚愕の世界を作り出している。
