希少性（CD）からか　若干過大評価のような気もするAlbum。　同時代のThe Sound Of Feelingが　もう一歩踏み込んだ形でこの手法を確立しているので　先進性というものはさほど感じられません。　Buckley師の歌唱法としては　過渡期の作品ではないかと私は捉えております。　語尾を延ばし声を震わせるなど　様々な唱法を繰り出すBuckley師に　楽団員が対応しきれない部分も散見。　特にLee UnderwoodがThe RiverやThe Train辺りで寡黙になっているのが少し残念です。　この時期に高柳昌行や阿部薫と邂逅していれば　別の展開もなどと夢想する次第。　いずれにせよJoni Mitchellが歌唱力の限界を抱え10年経っても到達できなかった段階に　卓越した歌唱ゆえに2年程度で到達してしまったのが不幸の始まりか。

このアルバムだけは浮遊感があり、よく眠りながら聴いていた。ときどき聴きたくなるアルバムだ。是非ちゃんとした形で再発して欲しい。

うーん。
なぜ廃盤なんだ？？
ともかく曲とアレンジが最高レベルだ。バックのふたつのギターのコンビネーションとボーカルワークが尋常ではない。
ジム・オルークなどの音響派と呼ばれている少し前のサウンドより進んでいるかもしれない。また、よくニック・ドレイクを感じさせるなんていうアーティストが多いけど（ダンカン・シークやらアクアラングやら）、このアルバムはニック・ドレイクの静謐で研ぎ澄まされた覚醒感をより確実に昇華させたものだ（影響を受けたのはニック・ドレイクだと思うけど）。もっとたくさんのひとに聴いてほしいアルバムだ。前後にもジャズアレンジっぽいアルバムがあるがこのアルバムこそバランスのとれたアルバムだ。なんとしても再発を！！！！
