ブラックメタル入門者・初心者、メロデスを好んで聴いていてブラックにチャレンジしてみようかと思っている人にお薦めの逸品です。音質良好、疾走感ありまくり、邪悪度あり、泣きありと豪華に仕上がっております。ヴォーカルは高音の絶叫型で非常に聴きやすいっす。真性ブラックにありがちな、ひたすらブラストで突っ走るような危険性はありません。その系統が好きな人はちょっと残念かも。

現在メロデスを好んで聴いてる人で、ブラックメタル聴いてみようかな？なんて人にお薦め！ジャンルはメロブラで、基本的にトロイ曲は無いっす。とは言っても真性ブラックにありがちなひたすらブラストで突っ走るような危険性はありません。時折、シンフォブラ的な所があったりして、瞬間「やるな」と思ってしまいます。ヴォーカルは高音の絶叫型で聴きやすいです。多少ドラムの音が弱い気もしますが、音質は１０段階で８・９ぐらいで良好です。

ジャンルのカテゴリーは一応ブラックメタルになるだろうか？彼らの３rd。だがエンペラーのようなカリスマ性は見当たらないし、このスタイルはディセクションやサテリコンがやっていたメロディックブラックメタルだ。であるから彼ら特有の持ち味が欲しいところ。

哀愁に満ち溢れたメロディセンスはなかなかのものだし、演奏力はかなりのもの。だがいまひとつ説得力がないのは北欧におけるこの手のバンドの増殖によるパラドックスから離脱するカリスマ性、カルト性に欠ける為か？他のブラックメタル大物達と比べて邪悪性も劣る。8のようなインストゥルメンタルは美しいですが。次作に期待。
