BONJOVIのギタリストとして知られる、リッチー・サンボラのセカンドソロアルバム。前回に比べて、かなり落ち着いた内容になっている。
BONJOVIの曲からはかなり離れていはいるが、ヴォーカル中心の作りで、ギターと彼の声が上手く絡み合ってい、その世界観に一度入ってしまうと一週間は抜け出せない。
その歌唱力には脱帽。

「なんでこの人、ギターやってんの？」と思う位。
何度も聞いて、更に味が出るアルバム。
とにかく、聞いてみて損はない…と思う。

ライヴCDもかなりいい感じ。
BONJOVIの曲が彼が歌う事によって、また違う曲になっている。
最高です・・・・・もう。

ソロの一作目よりかなり落ち着いた内容になっていて、ヴォーカルの味が更に出ている感じです。日本のドラマ「ビーチボーイズ」にも使われてた2やタイトルトラックの５のほかにも聴けば聴くほど味が出てくるいいアルバムです。私は断然３がお気に入り。
ボンジョヴィのライブへ行ったことのある人ならば、ジョンと同じくらいの音量で見事にハーモニーを聴かせるリッチーの歌唱力にビックリした人も多いのでは・・・歌唱力ならジョンより上かも知れません。当然ギターもぎっくり聴かしてくれます。とてもお勧めの一枚。

この作品は完成品ではありません。
というと、「？」と思うかもしれません。

日本盤の発売日がアメリカよりも早めに設定されていたために、
シングル曲を覗いてはフィニッシュすることができませんでした。
その当時のインタビューでも彼本人非常に悔やまれると話していました。

もし興味のある方は後に発売されたUS盤などを聴いてみてはいかがでしょうか？
各曲とてもよい曲ばかりなので完成品を是非。
DON WASとRICHIE SUPAとの作業がとてもいいものだったと思わせてくれるでしょう。
