誰もが知っているジョン・レノンそしてその息子がショーンである。『どうせ親の七光りなんじゃないの？』なんて声もちらほら聞こえそうではあるがとんでもない！！ショーン・レノンは、間違いなく素晴らしいこれからを担う一人のアーティストである。アルバムの内容は、これが１stだとは思えないとても完成度の高いものだと思います。いろいろなジャンルの曲にショーンが作り出す独特なメロディーにのせ（ショーン自身ベースプレイヤーと言うこともありベースラインっぽいメロディーが特徴）ショーンのとても甘い声が涙すら誘うとてもドラマティックな１枚だと思います。そしてこのアルバムに参加しているゲストアーティストがまた凄いです。チボ・マット、メデスキ・マーティン＆ウッド････その他、全体的に少しjazzっぽさがあるなぁって感じですがそれはこのメデスキ・マーティン＆ウッドの影響が大だとおもいます。とにかく素晴らしいので是非この１枚はチェックしてみてください。

ショーン・レノンのデビューアルバムです。
多彩なジャンルの曲をまとめたアルバムにしたかったのでしょうが、全体的にパンチのない演奏と歌です。
数曲いい楽曲がりますがショーンの音域も狭く、この時点では魅力のある声でもないのでいまいちパッとしません。
ビートルズファンの方には父の面影を楽しむなど良いと思いますが、ショーン個人のアルバム評価としては星２といったとこでしょうか！
後のセカンドアルバム「フレンドリー・ファイア」は、うって変わって佳曲揃いのアルバムで、こちらをお勧めします
