傑作、２ｎｄアルバム（１ｓｔはｕｋ　ｓｑｕｅｅｚｅ名義）。ファニーでチープなひねりが心地良いし、グッドメロディ多数収録（１０、１１曲目で昇天）。リマスターも上々。

７９年発表のセカンド・アルパムです。１ｓｔは何とも中途半端な出来でしたので、スクイーズはこの２ｎｄから始まったと思ってもいいでしょう。全曲が入魂とも言えるような傑作揃いで、満足出来ること間違いなし。１ｓｔから引きずったニューウェーヴ臭さ・・・ミュン・ミュン鳴るシンセが一曲目から飛び出して来てちょっとご愛嬌なんですが、それも味があっていいと思うのと、以降はこういったサウンドがほとんど聞かれなくなるので、ある意味で貴重かも。代表曲、ＲＥＶＵＥ、ＵＰ　ＴＨＥ　ＪＵＮＣＴＩＯＮ、ＧＯＯＤＢＹＥ　ＧＩＲＬ、ＣＯＯＬ　ＦＯＲ　ＣＡＴＳ、を含む初期の代表作です。

世の中にはそれこそ.星の数ほどバンドが存在するが本当に粋なバンド.というとそう思いつかない.個人的にはパッと思い浮かぶのはMonochrome　setとこのSqueezeぐらいかも。このCDはポストパンクとニュ-ウエ-ヴのバランスが絶妙。ソリッドで贅肉のないサウンド.にポップミュ-ジックの面白い仕掛けがあちこちに。ジャケットもとてもよく.聞けばきくほど味が出るアルバムです。なお.このような粋なバンドは2005年現在.ほぼ絶滅状態である。
