ポールのソロデビュー作。ＭＲ．ＢＩＧやそれ以前のバカテク・ギタリストとしての印象とは大きく異なる、極めて良質なメロディを爽快でガッツあるサウンドで聴かせる、という彼本来のポップス好きの一面を大胆に前に押し出しているのが印象的。
trk2,3,6,9あたりの胸キュンのメロディは耳にこびりつくほど。

また、アルバム全体では起伏に富んだ演出もあって、trk7でもテクニカルなギタリストとしての一面をさりげなく出したかと思えば、trk12では即興的なジャム演奏を繰り広げる。このあたり、彼の音楽バックグラウンドの多彩さを実感する。

結局このあと彼はＭＲ．ＢＩＧを脱退することになるが、個人的にはソロとバンドは共存してほしかった気もする。それくらい、両者とも質の高い音楽である。
