『Children』ほどのヒット曲は入っていないものの
ドラムも単純な、４つ打ちと言ったようなものも少なくなり
作り込みのレベルが、前作よりも格段に上がっています。

ただ一つの曲を聞くといった感じではなく、このアルバム自体が
一枚の作品と言ったような統一感を感じます。

ロバートマイルズは『Children』だけしか聞いたこと無いなぁ

という人は、是非聞いてみてください。

ロバート・マイルズと言えば、前作「Dreamland」が有名ですが、この作品も良いですね。
むしろ作品としてのトータルクオリティはこちらの方が上に思います。

幻想的な一曲目からジワジワと「23AM」の世界に引き込まれて行きます。
どことなく哀愁を帯びたメロディが耳に心地良いです。
また、この作品にはマイルズ自身が世界各地でポータブルDATにて録音した様々な音がミックスされているらしく、独特の世界観を作り出すエッセンスになっています。

マイルズ自身『Dreamlandに比べ、より完璧でパーソナルな作品』と語るアルバム。
なるほど、アーティストの内面世界がそのまま音になった素晴らしい作品だと思います。
