産声をあげたばかりの初期ヘヴィ・メタルを敏感に摂取し、
そのラインで十二分に「名盤」といえる作品を提示してみせた、
不遇の名バンドLucifer's Friendの最後の煌めきたる一作。

疾走系の曲は少ない。それはまだ、当時のメタル全体がそうだった。
比較的シンプルなアレンジで、剥き出しの音楽で勝負している印象。
初期ハードロックだってそうだったのだから、これはある意味で原点回帰か。

1stから不遇の十年間、彼らの作品は、しかしそのテンションをけっして落とさなかった。
その時々の試みには失敗もあったが、手抜き感や妥協感などは一切なかった。
失敗は常に攻撃的失敗で、もちろん少なからぬ攻撃的成果も勝ち獲った。
そんな彼らの残した最後の作品の、この変わらぬ攻撃的なクオリティたるやどうだろう!

発表後、ろくなツアーもできずに彼らは力尽き倒れた。
志も半ば、その無念は計り知れない。
だがとまれ、彼らは確かに「前のめり」に倒れたのだ。
この作品こそは、まさにその揺るがざる記録である。
